We do not steer clients toward or away from neighborhoods, buildings, or communities on the basis of a protected characteristic. Neighborhood and building content on this website is intended to describe housing stock, amenities, transportation, and market conditions, not the people who live there.

Washington State Protected Classes

The Washington Law Against Discrimination prohibits discrimination in real estate transactions on the basis of:

Race, creed, color, and national origin
Citizenship or immigration status
Sex and marital status
Sexual orientation, including gender expression and gender identity
Families with children status
Honorably discharged veteran or military status
The presence of any sensory, mental, or physical disability, or the use of a trained dog guide or service animal

Local Requirements

Cities and counties in our service area (including Seattle and King County) protect additional characteristics, such as source of income, in housing. We follow the requirements that apply where a property is located.
