Bothell

Bothell is not a Seattle neighborhood; it is a city in its own right, straddling the King-Snohomish county line at the northern edge of the Eastside. It belongs to this guide because it has become one of the more compelling housing markets in the broader region, and buyers evaluating Kenmore, Lake Forest Park, or Redmond often find themselves looking at Bothell as well.

Downtown Bothell has undergone a genuine revitalization. The stretch along Main Street near the Sammamish River includes independent restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, and a walkable streetscape that gives the city a center of gravity it lacked a decade ago. The Sammamish River Trail runs through town and connects Bothell south to Kenmore and Lake Washington, and east to Redmond and the Eastside trail network.

Bothell's neighborhoods include distinct subareas with meaningfully different characters. Canyon Park and North Creek are largely newer suburban residential, oriented around Bothell-Everett Highway and SR 405. Westhill and Maywood Hills are more established residential areas.
