Georgetown

Georgetown is the neighborhood that Seattle's arts and creative community built around an industrial infrastructure that everyone else walked away from. The brick warehouses, the small manufacturing operations, and the light industrial zoning that defined Georgetown for most of the twentieth century created a canvas that artists and small businesses have occupied in ways that have given the neighborhood a distinctive character unlike anything else in Seattle.
