The Neighborhood
Medina
Medina is one of the most exclusive residential communities in the Pacific Northwest. A small city immediately west of Downtown Bellevue on Lake Washington, it is characterized by estate-scale properties, significant lake frontage, mature landscaping, and an almost complete absence of commercial development. The combination of privacy, lake access, and proximity to Bellevue's urban core has attracted a number of the region's most prominent residents.
The city's small geographic size (roughly one square mile) means that inventory appears infrequently and transactions are closely watched within the local market. Most sales are significant, and many never reach public listing before closing. Buyers interested in Medina should expect to work with a broker who has genuine local market knowledge and existing relationships within the community.
SR-520 provides direct access to Seattle to the west and to downtown Bellevue immediately to the east. Despite its exclusivity, Medina's location is remarkably central: Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, and Kirkland are all within a practical commute.

Real Estate
Real Estate in Medina
The Medina market is estate-scale by nature. Properties with true Lake Washington frontage represent the most significant segment and command prices that reflect both the scarcity of the asset and the quality of what it delivers: privacy, water access, and an address with regional and national recognition.
Inland Medina properties (those without direct lake frontage) remain significant by most regional standards, with large lots, established landscaping, and a neighborhood context that carries its own premium. Even without waterfront, Medina properties benefit from the city's overall character and exclusivity.
Housing Types
- Waterfront estates
- Luxury estate properties
- Large-lot single-family homes
