About the Building
Luxe is a small seven-story condominium at 500 5th Ave W on the Uptown edge of Lower Queen Anne, close enough to Seattle Center and the Counterbalance to walk everywhere and small enough that residents know the building rather than just their floor. The original structure dates to the late 1960s, and Metropolitan Homes carried out a comprehensive conversion and renovation around 2007 that reached siding, larger new windows, and electrical and plumbing systems, so it lives newer than its vintage implies.
Its organizing idea is architectural rather than amenity driven. Homes are arranged around an open glass atrium with common seating that brings daylight deep into the building, and the residence mix runs from one-bedroom and two-bedroom plans up to multilevel penthouse-style layouts. Many homes open to a deck or patio, secure access is reported, and parking is spread across more than one garage area.
Residence Character
- Design-forward boutique scale is the point here: fewer homes, a quieter building and an atrium that reads as architecture rather than as an amenity floor.
- Multilevel penthouse-style plans sit at the top of the mix, with one-bedroom and two-bedroom homes below.
- Decks and patios are reported with many homes, though not all; confirm outdoor space for a specific residence.
- West and south facing upper homes have the best chance at water and city outlook, but view potential is never universal. Verify parking, storage and air conditioning per home.
Amenities
- Open glass atrium with common seating
- Secure building access
- Multiple garage parking areas reported in current listings

Important
No Rental Cap ≠ Short-Term Rental
